Support Americans & American families, in Health, Wellness, & Community

"One of the marvelous things about community is that it enables us to welcome and help people in a way we couldn't as individuals.  When we pool our strength and share the work and responsibility, we can welcome many people, even those in deep distress, and perhaps help them find self confidence and inner healing." Jean Vanier

The Five W's Of Life

-Who you are is what makes you
special. Do not change for anyone.

-What lies ahead will always be a
mystery. Do not be afraid to explore.

-When life pushes you over, you
push back harder.

-Where there are choices to
make, make the one you won't regret.

-Why things happen will never
be certain. Take it in stride and move
forward.

As we live in a sea of uncertainty, going with the ebb and flow of the tides, take a breath, remain calm, and know that a divine universal oneness protects us. Therin lies hope and peace.  We are all spiritual warriors, and we have got this.

We can Choose!

We can choose love over fear

We can choose humanity over inhumanity

We can choose how we show up in the world.

We can choose how we react to a situation that is beyond our control. We have the power to choose love.   Tara Ijai

Have the courage to be authentic, learn from adversity and inspire others.

Overcome judgments, be honest, have compassion and forgiveness for yourself and others.

Possess gratitude, maintain healthy habits, and infuse kindness into everything you do.

Experience a life full of joy, laughter, prosperity, and unceasing love. Jae Hart

About Us

person with american flag

This website was created in memory of my brother, Ronald DeRose, who was a marine that was killed by a drunk driver in 1998.  He would have looked at our world today and would have been very upset and disgusted with the way things are progressing.  He was a staunch supporter of our American flag and America. He would have come up with a way to do whatever he could to help other veterans and anyone else in need.  I'd like to think that he would be looking down on me and giving me a nod of approval in my attempt to do what I can to help even though I am home 24/7 taking care of our momma in her "golden" years.  I can't volunteer in person and I don't have the funds to help financially.

Talking with friends this idea was born.  I would like to be able to provide information in the form of blogs that can help people that may be going through rough times.  I can help people by providing community, and I can support America by providing information on American owned businesses, and tips to help folks get by. I can help provide Hope with words of encouragement and to remind people they are not alone.  We are right here with you.  My name is Lisa Heron and with my friends we are hoping to help provide avenues and tips for supporting each other emotionally, mentally, and compassionately during these times.
